The Combi Heater Elements 240v kit is a genuine replacement for Truma combi heaters and fits 2e, 4e, and 6e units. The price includes two elements, we recommend that both are replaced at the same time.
Is your combi taking over 30 minutes to heat a tank of water or is showing fault codes? This is usually because one of your elements has failed. This is a common issue with combi’s of all ages.
The elements are straightforward to change and does not require any intrusion into the gas chamber or changing of any gaskets other than the lead through bushes. The elements are not an immersion type, they are simply pushed into an external housing and heat by radiation so you don’t have to open up the water jacket either.
Combi heaters, fitted to motorhomes and caravans, heat up the water and distribute warm air throughout the cabin space via vents.
The heater can be awkward to remove but once out the elements are relatively easy to change, this should be carried out by a qualified professional.
