Truma Combi Heater Genuine Replacement Electrical Elements 2E, 4E, 6E and Diesel
The Combi Boiler Heating Elements are manufactured specifically for Truma Combi’s by Thermo Technica and are of excellent quality.
If your combi is taking over 30 minutes to heat a tank of water or showing any fault codes then you need new elements. This means that one or both of the elements have failed. Don’t worry though as this is a common issue with combi’s of all ages and is easily rectified.
The Heating Elements are straightforward to change and does not require any intrusion into the gas chamber or changing of any gaskets. The elements are also not an immersion type as they are simply pushed into an external housing and heats the inner cavity by radiation so you don’t have to open up the water jacket either.
Combi heaters, fitted to motorhomes and caravans, heat up the water and distribute warm air throughout the cabin space via vents.
The heater can be awkward to remove but once out the elements are relatively easy to change. This should be carried out by a qualified professional.
