Warranty Policy and Registration

Thermo Technica are very pleased to offer a standard 12-month replacement parts policy on all our products. Where stated we offer a further 12 month replacement parts warranty on selected products.

You must register your product within 30 days of delivery date to extend the warranty.  We only accept warranty claims from the person who purchased the product and original proof of purchase is required to submit a warranty claim.

    We only exchange or repair products if they are defective or damage caused by manufacturing defects and are in line with the manufacturer's instructions, and you must not modify the product.  If not reported within 14 days from the time of purchase, manufacturer does not accept any claims of incompleteness and mechanical damages after sale.

    The warranty does not apply to the following: defects resulting from being lost, stolen, misused, neglected, subject to malicious damage, or damage caused by rust, corrosion, water, voltage fluctuations, explosions or accidents. Force majeure relating to lightning strikes, fire, flood, frost or bad weather conditions. Independent repair of product, use of wrong voltage and failure of the heater due to combustion chamber impurity.

    Warranty does not apply if your product has been used for:

    • commercial use
    • hire or similar purpose
    • trade
    • permanent or temporary accommodation use of a maximum of 30 days per year

    Normal wear and tear exclusions apply. All filters, gaskets, glow plug screens and fuses are not covered by warranty.

    Thermo Technica reserve the right to honour warranty on a repeat repair for the same fault or damage to products caused by poor installation, poor workmanship or improper use not in accordance with supplied installation instructions. Thermo Technica's decision on poor installation or workmanship is final. All replacement parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and/or workmanship for the remainder of the original warranty period.

    PLEASE NOTE: Gas appliances should only be signed off by a Gas Safe registered installer and in accordance with the manufacturers' instructions. Thermo Technica reserve the right to request proof of professional installation and Gas Safe Certificates.

    If you experience any problems with the product, please consult the fault code table supplied in the instruction booklet  (where applicable) and if you are not able to fix the problem then consult the professional who installed the product. We are not able to give technical advice on installation.

    On filing a Warranty claim you accept that if no fault or defect is found you will be charged a  minimum of £50 +vat for  the check and this is payable before the product is returned to the customer.

    We only accept warranty claims from the person who purchased the product.

    All repairs must be undertaken by Thermo Technica and all transportation costs are met by the customer. Thermo Technica are unable to offer or have the facilities to remove products that are installed. Please contact us before arranging transportation.

    We are unable to return any packaging when we return your product.

    Thermo Technica reserve the right to update warranty conditions, giving customers 30 days' notice of any changes.
